Salinas, California April 25th 2011 Protesting Arysta's planned "sales pitch" of the controversial strawberry fumigant methyl iodide a.k.a. MIDAS - presentation to growers was rescheduled.

According to the USDA and the California Department of Food and Agriculture, California strawberries are a $1.2 billion crop and strawberry sales regularly surpass vegetable - Monterey County's number one seller and employing aproximately 30,000 people during the production season.
