I was listening to this song when I got the call from the hospital that my Dad died of Cancer in 1971 ! It was terminal so that's why I think I Could relate to this tune, because I knew he could go at any time, but it was so ironic that I had this on when I got the call !

I first heard this in 86, I was 22. Now I am 47 and it's been a blink of an eye. So yea, it won't be long whether you are 22 or 47, or 69. Time doesn't matter. Make the best. Fishmeister, my heart goes out to you.

Takes me back to a quiet summer afternoon in '77, a two story cabin in the counry in Oregon, going thruogh my Hippie neighbor's records. Before this I'd only heard Harvest. A few weeks before leaving home far too young.
