As the album included many non-album cuts and single versions, it remains a fan favourite. The music press was critical, however, labelling the album "inessential." /

The CD sleeve for The World Won't Listen is based on the cassette version of the sleeve layout; the original album featured a larger picture of a Fifties fairground scene, of which this is a crop. The sleeve was designed by Morrissey, using a photo by Jürgen Vollmer from the book Rock 'N' Roll Times: The Style and Spirit of the Early Beatles and Their First Fans.

I have a shoe fetish;) Hot Topic size 11 & another seeming synchronicity; earlier this afternoon this song popped into my mind (morning lemon) and I said to myself i'm going to blog it (on occasion i still listen to the scratched CD i know exactly where it is) so F.Y.I. these boots are the same color as the CD cover on the youtube vid below - sort of a red burgundy; that's it - thats the synchronicity "take that motherfuckers!"
