Karl Lagerfeld bookmark...itenef - The Sound of Sexy Machines
itenef - The Sound of Sexy Machines
Seven years later and i'm going to re-read The Magic Mountain...hmm...its hard going so far...Good old Hans Castorp...I highly recomend. I started off the summer reading "The Beach" (yeah like the movie) so now that i'm warmed-up i figured some Thomas Mann was in order... This is an old copy I bought a few years back so that "bookmark" is pre-2005 Vogue or something...
P.S. I don't write "William's" in my book...that was written by this old old man from Macau who use to have this really cramped book store, books piled everywhere but he had some great books like the entire set of Winston Churchill histories not the biographies but like the history of England, that you could buy for $20; I would always put books on hold for next time and then one day I showed up and they where painting the place lime green turning it into a beauty salon; he had died...

Breeders - Do You Love Me Now
Form fitting Trench "A" caught my eye (maybe for another shoot?) but if it did actually fit snug the silloute would be cool maybe with your leather knee highs and alternately with heels for another version????
Wide Hood Canvas - i like the pattern and the hood - again maybe if we gave it a twist???

Hong Kong Garden: Siouxsie and the Banshees
Harmful elements in the air
symbols clashing everywhere
Reaps the fields of rice and reeds
while the population feeds
Junk floats on polluted water
an old custom to sell your daughter
Would you like number 23?
Leave your yens on the counter please
Hong Kong Garden
Tourists swarm to see your face
Confuscius has a puzzling grace
Disoriented you enter in
unleashing scent of wild jasmine
Slanted eyes meet a new sunrise
a race of bodies small in size
Chicken Chow Mein and Chop Suey

"Christina Billotte and Melissa Berkoff initially began playing together in a Washington, DC band called Hazmat in 1989, but then joined up with Nikki Chapman and Mary Timony to form Autoclave. Autoclave released a 7" on the "DisKord" label, a joint effort between Dischord and Olympia, Washington's K Records. The band's second release was a posthumous 10" released on Christina's label, Mira Records. After the band split up, the members went off in different directions. Nikki went to Olympia, Melissa headed to New Orleans, Mary went to Boston (where she would form Helium) and Christina stayed in DC and went on to form Slant 6, Quix-o-tic and The Casual Dots. Autoclave was a band that defied classification and context, and their music was unique and lasting enough that Dischord decided to release a discography CD in 1997.
